Install on iPhone or iPad

iOS 16.4+ Safari only ~10 seconds
  1. Open Safari (must be Safari, not Chrome) and go to app.base-ai.app.
  2. Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen — the square with an arrow pointing up.
  3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. You can rename the icon if you like, then tap Add in the top right.
  5. BASE appears on your Home Screen. Tap to open — it runs full-screen, no browser bar.
Note: on iOS, push notifications and offline support are only available after you add BASE to your Home Screen. They won't work if you only open BASE in a Safari tab.

After install

The first time you open BASE from the Home Screen, sign in. Then you can enable notifications and connect agents to your calendar, contacts and health data — all from Settings.

Install on Android

Chrome, Edge, Samsung Internet ~5 seconds
  1. Open Chrome (or any other modern Android browser) and go to app.base-ai.app.
  2. After a few seconds, an "Install app" banner appears at the bottom — tap it. If it doesn't, open the browser menu (⋮) and tap Install app or Add to Home screen.
  3. Confirm by tapping Install.
  4. BASE appears on your Home Screen and in your app drawer. It runs in its own window, separate from the browser.
Note: on Android, the installed app gets full push notifications, offline support, and shortcuts. You can uninstall any time from your phone's settings, like any other app.

After install

First open prompts you to sign in. After that, BASE will offer to send you notifications — accept to get agent reminders. All permissions stay revocable from Settings → Privacy.

Install on Mac

Safari 17+, Chrome, Edge, Arc macOS Sonoma+ recommended ~10 seconds
  1. Open Safari, Chrome, Edge or Arc and go to app.base-ai.app.
  2. In Safari: click File in the menu bar, then Add to Dock… Give it a name (or keep "BASE"), click Add.
  3. In Chrome / Edge: click the Install icon in the address bar (looks like a screen with an arrow), or open the menu (⋮) → Install BASE.
  4. BASE opens in its own window. It now lives in your Dock and Launchpad alongside other apps.
Tip: when launched from the Dock, BASE runs in a clean window without browser tabs. You can drag it to a different Space, use Mission Control, and quit it like any other Mac app (Cmd+Q).

After install

Notifications appear in macOS Notification Center if you grant permission. You can manage them in System Settings → Notifications.

Install on Windows or Linux

Chrome, Edge, Brave ~10 seconds
  1. Open Chrome, Edge or Brave and go to app.base-ai.app.
  2. Click the Install icon in the address bar (small monitor with a down-arrow). If you don't see it, open the menu (⋮) → Install BASE or Apps → Install this site as an app.
  3. Click Install in the prompt that appears.
  4. BASE pins to your Start menu (Windows) or applications launcher (Linux) and opens in its own window.
Tip: on Windows you can also pin BASE to your taskbar from the installed app's right-click menu. Notifications integrate with the Windows Action Center.

After install

Same login as the web version — your account and content are identical across web, desktop and mobile installs.

Questions about installing BASE

Why isn't BASE in the App Store?

BASE is a Progressive Web App — it runs straight from app.base-ai.app and installs in seconds without an app-store download. We chose this approach to ship faster, push updates instantly, and avoid the 15–30% platform fee. A native App Store version may come later as the product matures.

Is it the same as the website version?

Yes — same code, same account, same content. Installing just gives you a dedicated window, offline support and push notifications. You can switch back and forth between installed and browser at any time.

Will it work offline?

The app shell loads offline so you can open BASE without a connection. Reading and sending new content requires the network, since your data is securely synced from our EU-hosted servers. We don't store private content offline by default for security reasons.

How do I uninstall?

iPhone / iPad: long-press the icon → Remove App. Android: long-press → Uninstall. Mac: right-click the dock icon → Quit, then move from Applications. Windows: right-click in Start menu → Uninstall. Removing the icon doesn't delete your BASE account — to do that, see Privacy → Your rights.

Will I get notifications?

Yes, after you grant permission. BASE asks once you've used the product enough that notifications make sense (typically after first agent interaction). You can change this anytime in your device's notification settings.

Is my data safe?

BASE infrastructure is hosted in the EU. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. The PWA install doesn't change this — installed or not, your content lives on our servers under our Privacy Policy. See also our Security page for the technical details.
